Will a ½-ton truck carry a Six-Pac?

Yes, in most cases, but most ½-ton truck owners may want to consider a rear suspension upgrade to help carry the extra weight of the camper. A set of helper-springs, over-load springs or air bags will do the trick. These are usually easy to install and relatively inexpensive. We have the ability to do some of the suspension work right here at the factory when you get your camper installed. Good truck tires are also recommended ("D" or "E" Rated Tires).

Are prices negotiable?

No, your opportunity to deal directly with the factory results in the lowest possible price. The prices you see here on our website are the prices you will be quoted by our factory representatives - no surprises, no sales games. Here at the factory, we provide you with the best possible service and the most knowledgeable sales staff without the high-pressure dealer sales environment.

What is the biggest benefit of a Six-Pac over other truck campers?

High quality, light weight and affordability. Additionally, Six-Pacs are made to fit into truck beds - meaning the camper's proportions and weight are appropriate for your truck - giving you the highest level of versatility and maneuverability.

Does Six-Pac offer financing?

Yes, we have lenders with whom we work on a regular basis. For more information on the current interest rates available or to learn more about financing a new camper, please contact us.

What is the warranty on a Six-Pac?

Our warranty includes: 10 years on the one-piece (TPO) rubber roof, 3 years on the camper frame and 1 year bumper-to-bumper against manufacturing defects on both the inside and outside of the camper. Additionally, the appliances in the camper (such as the refrigerator, furnace, air conditioner, etc.) carry full warranties from their respective manufacturers.

Can I have a camper shipped to me?

Yes, delivery of our campers is available in most areas throughout the lower 48 United States. A factory representative can give you more detailed information, including a shipping estimate to your particular destination.

I'd like to see a Six-Pac for myself - where can I do that?

We have two showroom locations in California. Please see our Contact Us page for exact locations. We also participate in a number of RV and outdoor sports shows where you can see our camper models and speak with factory representatives directly. Please visit our show page to find out more about our upcoming show schedule. We also have 3 dealers in Oregon & Washington that usually have campers in stock. Please see our "Dealer Page" for their contact information & locations. Dealer Page

How long does it take to get my Six-Pac once I've placed the order?

We usually have campers in stock, but if for some reason we don't have the exact one you want on hand, we can build it for you in a very short time, typically 3-6 weeks from start to finish.

Do you sell or deliver campers in Canada?

No, not at this time. However, we can deliver your camper to the U.S. side of the Canadian border and install it for you there for you to drive home.

Which camper fits my truck?

Please visit our web page entitled Which Six-Pac Fits my Truck?

Can I still tow a trailer with a Six-Pac on my truck?

Yes. Six-Pacs are made to fit into truck beds without overhang in the back, which allows your tow hitch to be used without modifications. The only exception to this would be the installation of a long-bed camper in a short-bed truck.

How is the camper attached to my truck?

We use traditional camper tie-downs and turn buckles when we install your camper. Although install kits and hardware vary from truck to truck, during a standard installation we attach four tie-down brackets to your truck bed. Once the camper is on the truck, we will then attach four turn buckles to the eye bolts in the camper and to the tie-down brackets on your truck.

Can I get a bathroom in my Six-Pac?

Yes, we offer two fully-self-contained camper models. The D650 (short bed) and D850 (long bed) each contain a bathroom and shower inside the camper. The D650 is the only true short-bed self-contained camper on the market today.

What exactly is an outside shower?

The outside shower is a simple fixture on the outside of the camper with hot and cold running water. Rinse the dirt and mud off yourself, the children, the dog - anything!

What do I need to do before I have my Six-Pac installed on my truck?

Please visit our web page entitled Getting Ready to Install Your New Six-Pac

Can I put a Six-Pac on my 4-cylinder truck?

The Six-Pac T100S fits most mini trucks (such as the Tacoma, Ranger, Frontier, etc.), but a 4-cylinder truck will feel a bit slower with the camper on it. We generally recommend 6- or 8-cylinder engines for trucks carrying our campers.

How will the addition of a Six-Pac camper affect my truck's gas mileage?

Our customers experience a decrease in gas mileage of a few miles per gallon.

Do you offer a camper with smooth fiberglass siding?

No. We've found that aluminum siding offers an ideal combination of affordability, light weight and long wear.

Can I put a long-bed camper on a short-bed truck and leave the tailgate down?

Yes, we can put a long-bed camper on a short-bed truck if it is a ¾- or 1-ton truck.

Does the camper come with air conditioning?

Air conditioning is not a standard feature in our campers, but we can install it in most any model.

Does the camper come with batteries?

Camper batteries are not a standard feature, but we do offer single or dual batteries for our models. The battery compartment accommodates single or double 6-volt or 12-volt batteries. For more detailed information, please visit the section of our website entitled Our Campers.

Can I walk on the roof of a Six-Pac?

Yes, the roofs of the campers are specially reinforced for this purpose.

Do the campers come with the option of an "on-board" generator?

No. Our D850 model does have an outside compartment large enough to carry a generator, but only for transit. The generator should not be operated in this storage compartment.

Is the camper pre-wired so I can add options at a later date without too much trouble?

Yes, the camper is pre-wired for: air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, a microwave, a stereo and speakers, a FanTastic roof fan, rear flood lights and a solar panel.

What kind of frame does the camper have?

We build our campers frames from kiln-dried Douglas fir wood with pressure laminated interior paneling for shear strength. The nose and jack corners are reinforced with galvanized steel plating and we utilize a ¾" high tensile steel band tightened all the way around the center of the camper for the ultimate in strength and durability.

How is the camper insulated? Is it comfortable to use in cold weather?

For comfortable cold-weather camping, all four walls and the roof on Six-Pacs are insulated with foam blocking and the frame is self-insulating (since wood is a natural insulator). The holding tank compartment is also insulated and all water lines are run inside the camper to lower the risk of freezing.

How stable is the camper in windy conditions?

Six-Pacs offer a high degree of wind stability. Our lower center of gravity and more compact profile make the difference.

What are the water, sewage and propane holding tank capacities?

The capacities are: 38 gallons fresh water, 34 gallons sewage water and 5 gallons (20lbs.) propane (this is for the S650, S850, D650, & D850 Models). The T-100S Model has a 16 gallon fresh water tank & a 16 gallon grey water holding tank.

How much head room is there inside a Six-Pac?

The clearance is 6 feet 6 inches floor to ceiling (varies on models) and 34 inches in the cabover bed area. For more detailed information, please visit the section of our website entitled Our Campers.

Can you tell me the additional weights of non-standard items?

For more information, please contact us and speak directly with a factory representative.

Are cabover struts required to hold up the front of the camper?

No. The cabover of the camper is completely self-supported.
